Arbitration Without Lawyers is an intensive two-day seminar for non-lawyers on how to effectively prepare and present a labor arbitration case. Role-playing in a small group environment complements practical step-by-step outlines designed to launch non-lawyers into active arbitration practice. Topics include how to select an arbitrator; how to obtain information from the employer; how to organize your facts and documents; how to prepare a witness and how to develop your theory of the case. Examples of role-playing include presentation of opening statements, direct examination of a grievant, cross-examination of management and final argument.
