Esmeralda is a paralegal at Barnard Iglitzin & Lavitt LLP. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Washington. She has over seven years of litigation experience in State, Federal, and Appellate Courts, with a specific background in civil rights, discrimination, fair housing, and employment law. She brings to the firm a broad range of experience in all phases of the litigation process, from the initiation of a case to the discovery period through trial and post-trial findings and appeals. Esmeralda is interested in all aspects of legal work and is eager to broaden her knowledge.
Esmeralda was raised in Eastern Washington and moved to Seattle in 2007. She volunteers at legal clinics around the state as a Spanish interpreter for immigration and criminal cases and has volunteered as a soccer coach for the West Seattle Soccer Club for eight seasons.
