Madeleine Denny
Bio
Madeleine Denny joined the firm in September 2025 after clerking on the Ninth Circuit and the District of South Dakota. Madeleine graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis in spring of 2022. While at law school, she interned for the Community Justice and Mediation Clinic, the Wrongful Conviction Clinic, and Judge Aubrey Fleissig on the Eastern District of Missouri. In the Community Justice and Mediation Clinic, Madeleine partnered with Fair Housing initiatives to keep working people in their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic by negotiating agreements between tenants and landlords.
Madeleine also served as a notes editor for the Washington University Law Review.
Prior to law school, Madeleine taught English as a second language after receiving a bachelor's degree in English and French literature from the Ohio State University in 2018. During and after her time at the Ohio State University, Madeleine also volunteered with local non-profits to promote fair access to education and women's health care.
