Frances Maurer

Frances Maurer joined the firm as an Associate Attorney in 2026. Prior to joining the firm, Frances served as a Student Loan Advocate Attorney at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, where she assisted consumers with financial concerns and litigated cryptocurrency scams as a Special Assistant Attorney General. In the process of obtaining her JD, Frances gained experience working in-house with Sheet Metal Workers Local 104, and with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as a semester-long clerk for an Administrative Law Judge. She also worked in consumer rights at the National Consumer Law Center, and with immigration clients at the Center for New Americans. During law school, Frances was a research assistant to Professor Marion Crain, aiding in the preparation of labor and employment journal articles. She also acted as an associate editor for the Law and Policy Journal and co-founded a student branch of the National Lawyers Guild.
