Bio

After being a service and labor industry worker for many years, Juliana attended the University of Washington School of Law from 2020-2023 to pursue a career in workers’ rights. While in law school, Juliana established a resume dedicated to legal aid organizations and workers’ rights litigation. Working for Legal Services of Northern California, Juliana helped retired workers enforce their pension benefits under state-sponsored and union pension plans. Subsequently, she was a legal intern for the Unemployment Law Project, where she represented individuals in administrative hearings, arguing against the imposition of burdensome overpayment allegations against workers. In her last year, Juliana worked as a Rule 9 intern for Snohomish County Legal Services, representing individuals facing eviction in Snohomish County.

Additionally, throughout 2022-2023, Juliana served as a legal intern with the class action department of a plaintiff-side employment firm. Throughout law school, she was recognized with the Public Interest Law Association Fellowship for two consecutive summers and maintained her position as Committee Head of the National Lawyers’ Guild End the Contract Committee and Mutual Aid Committee.

Juliana joined Barnard Iglitzin & Lavitt after graduating from the University of Washington School of Law in 2023.
