Max joined the firm as an Associate Attorney in 2025. Before joining the firm, Max worked as a law clerk for The Honorable Indira Talwani in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and for Justice Jude Pate on the Alaska Supreme Court. Max earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. During law school, Max assisted with worker rights litigation and policy matters as a summer associate with a labor and employment law firm in Berkeley and as an intern with the California Department of Justice, Worker Rights and Fair Labor Section. He also served as the Symposium Editor for the California Law Review, the Student Notes Editor for the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law, and a research assistant for Professors Sean Farhang and Andrea Roth.
Before law school, Max was a restaurant and grocery worker. He graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, where he majored in Legal Studies.
